Weather forecast
Up to a week of local forecast for any town or ZIP code — so a Magik Button can plan the day's jobs, warn the team before a storm, or tell customers what to expect.
What is the Weather forecast Magik Feed?
The weather forecast is a Magik Feed: live local weather Local Magik provides to every workspace, so any Magik Button can plan around it with no weather account and no key. Give a Button a ZIP code or town and it gets up to 7 days of forecast — conditions, high and low in °F, chance of rain or snow, and wind — fetched fresh each time it runs.
What Buttons do with Weather forecast
- A morning note on today’s weather and what it means for the day’s jobs
- A heads-up two days before rain or snow hits the schedule
- A weekend-outlook post for customers
What's in it
A Button gets a table with 6 columns:
Weather forecast, in plain terms
Do I need a weather account or API key?
No. The forecast is included — a Button just needs a location.
How fresh is the forecast?
Live. It's fetched fresh each time a Button runs, for up to the next 7 days.
Which locations work?
A US ZIP code or a town name. A ZIP code is the most precise — it can't be mistaken for a town of the same name somewhere else.
What’s in the Weather forecast feed?
One row per entry, with these columns: Day, Conditions, High, Low, Precip chance, Max wind.
