Introducing LocalMagik: the work you never get to, done with one button

Every small-business owner has the same second job. It doesn't show up on the schedule, but it's there every week: the newsletter you meant to send, the update you meant to post, the prep you meant to do before the big meeting. You know it matters. It's just that it competes with the actual work, and the actual work always wins.

LocalMagik exists for that second job.

One click, four beats

The core of LocalMagik is the Magik Button — a reusable workflow that runs with one click. Every button follows the same four beats:

  1. Click. Pick the button — say, Weekly Newsletter.
  2. Answer. A few plain questions: paste this week's notes, give it a headline, choose your list.
  3. Approve. Magik drafts everything in your voice, then stops and waits. You read it, tweak it if you like, and sign off.
  4. Done. The approved email goes out through your own Gmail, personalized for every person on your list, with a full record of what happened.

Five minutes, start to finish. Not because the work got smaller — because the drafting, formatting, remembering, and sending got handled, and the only part left is the part that was always yours: the judgment.

The part we won't automate

We built LocalMagik around one hard rule: nothing ships without a human approving it. Not as a setting — as architecture. Any step that sends or publishes is structurally locked behind an approval step, and the engine refuses to run it until a person signs off. Your name is on this work; your judgment stays in the loop.

Buttons are personalized, not generic

Under the hood, every button is a small declarative file — questions plus steps — that our engine executes. That means new buttons are configuration, not code, and a button can be shaped to one specific business: your rhythm, your channels, your voice. One of our favorite examples is a button built for a firm's weekly investment round-up: paste one write-up, get a blog post, a newsletter, and social teasers, all behind a single approval.

Your business has a rhythm like that too. There's probably a button in it.

Start with the newsletter

The Weekly Newsletter button is live, along with the Meeting Prep Brief. Sign in with Google, connect your Gmail, and this week's issue can be out the door before your coffee cools.
