Audiences & personalized sending
Keep your contact lists in LocalMagik as audiences. When a button sends, it fans out to the whole list through your own Gmail — personalized per recipient, like you wrote each one.
A newsletter is only as good as the list it lands on. LocalMagik keeps your lists as audiences — plain, named collections of contacts that buttons can send to.
The magic is in the fan-out. When you approve an issue, the send step delivers one personalized copy per recipient through your own connected Gmail: first names merged in, your address on the envelope, replies coming straight back to you. To your customers it reads like a note from a person — because as far as accountability goes, it is one: you approved every word.
Audiences stay yours. They live in your workspace, they're never pooled or shared, and every send is recorded against the run that produced it — so you always know exactly what went to whom, and when.
Questions, answered
What is an audience?
A named contact list in your workspace — your regulars, your wholesale accounts, your book club. When a button asks 'which list should this go to?', you're picking an audience.
How does personalized sending work?
The approved email keeps merge tokens like the recipient's first name; at send time the engine fans out one personalized copy per contact through your connected Gmail. Everyone gets 'Hi Maria,' not 'Hi valued customer.'
Does LocalMagik email my list from its own servers?
No. Sends go through your own connected account — you stay the sender your customers recognize, and your list never becomes someone else's asset.
